Notifications
Notifications are in-app first, email second. The bell in the top bar is the inbox. Each row names the project when the signal belongs to one, so assignments and comments from several clients stay distinguishable. Newest first; scroll or Load more for older rows. Delivery prefs live under Account → Notifications: one Browser column and one Email column.
What you get

Due-soon, risk, and standup use the hive timezone, not your profile timezone.
Email and browser
Section titled “Email and browser”Account → Notifications. Two columns:
- Email — turn a type off to stop the mail. The in-app bell still receives it. Chat mentions can be emailed; task mentions and DMs cannot.
- Browser — a system banner on this device when you are not in the InHive tab. Incoming calls, direct messages, chat
@mentions, and task@mentions.
If standup mail arrives at an unexpected hour, change the hive timezone in Organization settings, not your profile.
Account → Sound controls device-local mute, UI feedback, and notification sounds (the call ring). This is per browser or desktop app. It does not change anyone else’s laptop. Call banners are on Notifications, not Sound.
The desktop app is the same product in a dock icon; banners there are attributed to InHive. Direct messages and @mentions show the sender’s photo when they have one.
