Dashboard, My Work, Schedule

Three places cut across projects. They read the same tasks; they do not invent a second list.

The home view after you sign in. A compact summary shows overdue tasks, open work, and active projects. Needs attention comes next by default, with project health and recent activity below.

Choose Customize in the header to show or hide sections and change their order. Use the up/down buttons or drag the handles that appear on each section. Changes preview immediately; Save layout keeps them and Cancel restores your saved view. If saving fails, your draft stays available to retry. Your existing order is preserved until you change it.

Activity starts with the five latest events. Load more reveals earlier entries. It names the work that just moved. Click a task, project, comment, or other item to open it.

Project pulse gives managers project risk, late/open counts, upcoming workload, and due-date clusters. Compact project rows keep the status beside the name and the counts aligned nearby. Upcoming workload counts open tasks due within seven days, including overdue work; it does not measure personal capacity. Compact workload chips show full names and labeled task counts; date clusters include weekdays and cover the next fourteen days. Click a person to see their work through that date, or a date cluster to see tasks due on that exact day.

If activity or project figures fail to load, retry that section. Other sections remain available, and a failed Load more keeps the activity already shown.

Attention is the quieter report: what is not happening. It is rule-based (no model) and computed when you open it.

SignalMeaningWho sees it
Client gone quietNo public comment, email, or project call across that client’s projects for a whileManagers
Single-actor projectOnly one person has left a trace in the windowAnyone on the project
Stalled taskStarted, but nothing has changed for a whileAnyone on the project
Ownerless workOpen, no assignees, due soon or overdueAnyone on the project
Unbilled deliveryCompleted work with no time on itManagers

Attention rows show the task or client first, the reason underneath, and the project as context. Overdue work without an assignee is highlighted. Use Show all to expand beyond the first five signals.

The Attention header opens Schedule for managers and My Work for other members.

Use it as a morning scan, not a scorecard. A quiet client might be happy. A stalled task might be waiting on them. The report names the gap; you decide the conversation.

/my-work — tasks assigned to you across every project, overdue first.

  • Assigned subtasks show as the parent row, with a completed/total chip. Open the parent to check items off — each item can have its own due date.
  • If you are assigned a subtask but not the parent, the parent still appears on your list.
  • The due column sorts and tints by the earliest of the parent date and your open subtask dates. A “Subtask …” note under the date means that earlier date is on a checklist item; the picker still edits the parent.
  • Open a row for the same task drawer you use on a project.
  • Status (open / all / a catalog id) and labels sit on the list header and apply as you pick.
  • The overdue count in the top bar jumps to Schedule (?overdue=1).
  • Realtime updates follow the project; you do not refresh. A newly assigned task flashes honey and fades.

Batch edit works here the same way as the project table.

Archived projects hide ordinary tasks. A support task on an archived project can still appear if it is assigned to you.

/schedulemanagers only. This is “what is late across the hive,” not “what is on my plate.” My Work deliberately cannot answer that.

  • Default landing is overdue.
  • The top bar restates the active filters in one line after the title.
  • Open a row for the same task drawer you use on My Work. The project name still takes you to the project.
  • Pick a due on or before date to widen the window. Dashboard date clusters open an exact-day view labeled Due on this date. Picking another date switches back to on-or-before; Clear or a saved preset also exits the exact-day view. Save filter is available for ordinary on-or-before views.
  • Filters stay visible: project, status, label, assignee (multi-select, applied as you pick). Open work only unless you pick a status.
  • Status options are the union of the projects you loaded (same id, one row). Labels come from the hive catalog.
  • Save filter (bookmark) stores the current state as a named chip, up to 12, including labels. Shown when the view is not already a saved preset and not the default overdue landing. Click a chip to apply it; click the active chip again to go back to overdue (same as Clear). The × deletes that saved set.

While rows are selected, a batch bar floats over the bottom of the list. Filters stay put. Batch edit can push each task from its own due date, and set a status category when projects do not share one catalog. Feature stays disabled until the selection is a single project.
